I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the Founder and Owner of Mind-Body Trauma Therapy.

I have extensive training and expertise in treating trauma and anxiety, and in cultivating deep inner security and self-acceptance.

I’ve been working in the mental health field for 12 years and have spent the last 7 years providing therapy to clients. I have specialized training in EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and other experiential, body-based approaches to healing. I work with adults and teens ages 15+.

I believe that healing happens when we listen to both the mind and body. I help clients gently navigate their nervous system’s responses, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and build a compassionate relationship with themselves. My approach is affirming, empowering, values - driven, and experiential—therapy isn’t just about talking, but about sensing, feeling, and moving through what’s been stuck. I’m committed to creating a space where clients feel deeply seen, supported, and empowered to trust themselves again.

What her clients are saying:

Getting personal…

“I’m Mexican-American and was born in Chicago, IL then moved to central FL when I was 6. My parents were both born and raised in Mexico and went through many challenges before I came along. My parents’ journey from Mexico taught me the power of resilience.

As a therapist, I believe that the most powerful guidance comes from someone who truly embodies what they teach. To get where I am today, I had to go through my own healing journey - as someone who has lived through complex trauma. I’ve personally experienced the therapies I now specialize in, and they’ve been nothing short of life-changing. I’ve learned how to maintain a regulated nervous system, and my relationships are rooted in love and safety, built on vulnerability and showing up - even when it’s hard. I’m not perfect; I make mistakes and still struggle with insecurities & fear like the rest of us - I’m human. I’ve learned to love and accept myself and all my parts, even the difficult or messy ones. I’m so grateful for the tools I learned that helped me create this life.

It would be such an honor to guide you on your own journey toward healing. My hope is to inspire you to move through fear and create a life that feels deeply meaningful. I want you to experience feeling grounded and fully empowered in your life. Where you can finally take off the mask and “be yourself”, deeply trusting that when you are your most truest self - you attract your people. “
